Explaining the "Art of e.Biz'ness" name and logo:

Most often, when people hear "hartooffheebeezz" for the first time they would say: «what?» And then just properly enunciating the words makes it crystal clear. This is just like most projects which may first look confusing, but being able to structure it into a context, requirements, a business case and so forth, doesn't take much time yet it becomes already much clearer even if you haven't started to solve anything.

One can see that the logo contains the capital letters of the name:

rt f iz

Moreover, this site - and the associated company specialty - being about integration, we see that

"A" communicates e-lectronically with "B" through:
  1. an integration "sphere" (I don't mean any vendor), internal to A, hence private;
  2. an intermediate integration system, spherical as well;
  3. entering into a larger and open system (half a sphere), possibly a "B"usiness service provider or an internal application domain where (2) stands for the B2B gateway in a DMZ.

A and B have much different looks, suggesting the heterogeneity between different enterprises.

Some of the shapes have fuzzy borders, suggesting the constant evolution of systems or the need to have some bit working while other bits are still in construction.

The name, purpose, usage and illustration all fit together:

  • the ".biz" domain name extension (URL syntax) is integrated in the name itself...
  • ...name which is integrated in the logo...
  • ...logo which is an integration scenario between entities "A" and "B"...
  • entities doing e-Biz'ness with each other...bringing us back to the name.
just like in an IT project where the multiple architecture dimensions of the system under design must form a coherent - integrated - set.
